DLSU-D has partnered with Ruamrudee International School (RIS) in Bangkok to offer teaching internship opportunities for College of Education students.
In a recent meeting, DLSU-D President Brother Sockie de la Rosa VI, Vice President for Global Engagement Dr. George Francisco, and Fr. Jittapol Plangklang of RIS discussed the details of the program.
Br. Sockie highlighted the importance of global partnerships in providing students with international training to enhance their competencies as future educators.
“Providing our future educators with international training opportunities is a testament to our commitment to producing globally competent teachers,” Br. Sockie said.
Fr. Plangklang expressed excitement about the collaboration, which aligns with RIS’s commitment to quality education and intercultural exchange.
Dr. Francisco noted that this partnership reflects DLSU-D’s vision of strengthening global engagement.
“This partnership is a step forward in equipping our student-teachers with the skills and perspectives needed to thrive in an interconnected world,” Dr. Francisco stated.
The teaching internship is set to begin in the upcoming semesters, offering students valuable international experience and further solidifying DLSU-D’s leadership in global education.
