De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), through its Center for Student Admissions (CSA) and in coordination with the Asian Psychological Services and Assessment (APSA), Inc., successfully administered the Iskolar ng Bayan Qualifying Examination on May 24, 2026, for the upcoming Academic Year 2026–2027.
The qualifying examination, which serves as the gateway to the scholarship program of the Municipal Government of Silang, was held at the Infant Jesus Academy of Silang.
Empowering the Youth Through Education
As the official academic partner of the Silang Local Government Unit (LGU), DLSU-D accommodated over 800 aspiring first-year college students competing for the Iskolar ng Bayan scholarship. This collaboration highlights the University’s ongoing commitment to fostering academic excellence, promoting educational access, and actively supporting LGU's initiatives designed to uplift the youth.
Moreover, during the event, the atmosphere at the Infant Jesus Academy was filled with anticipation and hope as supportive parents and guardians gathered to cheer on their children, adding a strong sense of community backing to the competitive event.
