Admissions for all the programs offered by College of Business Administration and Accountancy Graduate Studies (CBAAGS) will go through NMAT by GMAC™ exam. For all test related information, please visit nmat.org.

The NMAT by GMAC™ test will be conducted at the following test centers in the Philippines

The candidate will be able to select the venue of their choice while scheduling their NMAT by GMAC™. Foreign applicants may choose test centers in other countries near to them. Candidates will receive a confirmation letter providing them with all the information pertaining to their test schedule appointment. Candidates will be able to print their admit card from www.nmat.org.in after the registration.

It is mandatory for the candidates to bring their Admit Card at the time of NMAT by GMAC™ exam and get it signed by the Test Center Administrator. The signed admit card shall be required to be presented during the Panel Interview if shortlisted. The Admit Card is a mandatory document to be retained until the Admissions cycle is not complete.

Test Fees for NMAT by GMAC exam is USD$75 payable by widely accepted international credit cards.

Candidates will be allowed to take the NMAT by GMAC™ exam a maximum of three times during the year’s testing period. This includes the first attempt plus a maximum of two retake attempts. No-shows are considered attempts.

The retake registration option will be enabled in the candidate’s dashboard after their exam date. Once enabled, they can schedule the exam and pay the retake registration fees. The candidate doesn't have to fill in the details again.

While the candidate may register for retake exam after their exam date, they can only schedule the retake exam date 15 or more days after their most recent date of attempt. This means the candidate will have to wait at least 15 calendar days before they can appear for a retake. The candidate can schedule the test any time during the retake scheduling window (subject to real time availability). They will be able to select any slot that is a minimum of 24 hours later than the time they schedule their appointment.

The candidate may reschedule their appointment if they can't appear for the original test appointment. They may reschedule their appointment up to 72 hours prior to their original appointment. The candidate may pay for their reschedule using credit card only.

  • The NMAT by GMAC™ exam is owned by Graduate Management Global Connection (India) Private Limited (GMGC), which is a subsidiary of Graduate Management Admissions Council® (GMAC). The exam is administered by NCS Pearson, Inc. (Pearson VUE) in various countries, and by MeritTrac Services Pvt. Ltd. (MeritTrac) in the Philippines.
  • The NMAT by GMAC™ CAT gives each candidate an adaptively generated test from a pool of questions, delivered one at a time. The number of questions and the time limit for each of the sections is predetermined and, under normal administration conditions, are the same regardless of when and where the test is administered. However, depending on the candidate’s ability level, he or she will receive an exam of appropriate difficulty level. Candidates have a choice of selecting the order/sequence of the test sections.
  • The NMAT by GMAC exam has three sections – Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning.
  • The three sections of the NMAT by GMAC exam are individually timed. Test takers must answer questions of each section within the allotted time.
  • The NMAT by GMAC exam is a 2-hour test containing multiple choice questions. Prior to the start of the test, there will be a two-minute period for the test taker to agree to the Non-Disclosure Agreement, a 10-minute tutorial and a three-minute period for section selection and sequencing.
  • The candidate should note that it is important for them to perform well relative to other candidates in each of the three sections of the test as the score of each section and the overall score will be used to shortlist the candidate for the next stage of the selection process.
