UPDATE: The scheduled LS Festival 2020 celebration is postponed for the time being. The committee is looking at the possibility of holding it in May. Please wait for further announcement regarding this matter.
The stage is all set for this year’s celebration of the Lasallian Festival from March 19-21. This year’s activities are centered on the theme #LSFWeGotU: Coming together for the Lasallian mission. It hopes to underscore the power of the Lasallian association in effecting a positive impact not just for the beneficiaries but among the deliverers of the mission as well. The event seeks to be a reminder on the message that Lasallians take care of one another in taking care of other people.
Led by the veneration of the relic, the three-day celebration has been designed to make the celebration simple yet memorable.
Among the activities for the first day are the opening of the LSF 2020, the Eucharistic eelebration and the #LSFWeGotU Mission Fair where students can sign up for various outreach activities.
On the second day, the opening of the #LSFWeGotU exhibits and open window/amnesty activities will take place. March 20 will also be devoted to different celebrations and activities inspired by the theme. Faculty Night will happen at the ULS where outstanding members of the faculty will be honored for their achievements.
The final day on March 21 will be highlighted by open window/amnesty activities a Procession and closing programs.
A logo making contest and photo documentation contest will also be among the main activities of the LSF 2020.
Guidelines for LSF 2020 Activities
Activity Date and Time: March 19,2020; 8:00 -5:00
Venue: ULS (set-up tables and chairs; panels and tarpaulins are optional)
Mission opportunities - The fair is the venue provided to different organizations, departments, colleges and partners to encourage the DLSU-D community to join voluntarily in your extension activities, project, and programs that you plan to implement.
Advocacy - The fair is the venue provided to promote your advocacies, be it in your organization and by your partner organization or institution using promotional materials, strategies, and approaches.
This is a venue to attract students and the DLSU-D community to join in your advocacy.
General Guidelines:
- Students, Faculty, Staff, ASP, parents, alumni, and partners are invited to join the activity.
- Registration is required by filling-out the Lasallian Mission Form of Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC).
- The deadline for submission to LCDC is until March 13,2020. LCDC will contact the proponent after three days regarding their application.
- LCDC will screen proposals to avoid duplication, overlapping, and overcrowding in the fair.
- Proponents are responsible for the expenses and logistical requirements.
- The exhibitor advocacy must be aligned with the LSF theme, University's principles, vision, mission, and goals. lt must also be contributory to the achievement of the Social Development Goals (SDGs), and the Lasallian Guiding Principles on Social Development.
- Pertinent University guidelines like financial processes, reservations, entry, and transportation, must be observed

Activity Date and Time: March 21-,2020 (launching) until April 7, 2020
Venue: Different hallways and entrance lobbies of college buildings/complex
- Each college, through its student government, will have an exhibit that showcases the programs, activities, and innovations of the college either at the receiving lobby or hallway that is visible to passerby.
- The exhibit must be guided by the theme of the Lasallian Festival 2020, #LSFWeGotu: Coming together for the Lasallian Mission.
- The exhibits shall highlight the college efforts/activities/programs that promote the Lasallian mission - human and Christian education for all, especially the poor.
- The exhibits may contain photos, videos (if applicable), documentation reports, etc. presented creatively and innovatively not just to attract attention but also to encourage inquiries and discussions.
- The exhibits will include an altar for the collegiate Lasallian Patron Saint.
- The exhibits must be easily visible, sturdy enough to last the duration of the Lasallian Festival, and must be made of environment-friendly materials.
- The best exhibit shall win P5,000.00. Criteria include:
- Relevance to the theme 25%
- Creativity 50%
- Overall impact 25%

In celebration of the Lasallian Festival 2020, we are providing March 20 (am only) and 21 as dates for activities that have been cut from the list of original IPOA activities.
To qualify, the following must be present in the activity:
- must have a planned budget of not more than 75K (no cash advances)
- must not be strenuous activities {e.g. sports or highly physically demanding activities like amazing race)
- must be in-house (to avoid notary requirement)
- must be aligned to the theme: #LSFWeGotU: Coming together for the Lasallion mission
- must culminate via participation in the procession and mass at the chapel (around 4 pm for the March 21 activities)
Those who belong to the reduced list need not satisfy these conditions, except for no. 3. If facilitated well, interested parties will only need a few days to process the event. The deadline for the online submission of the proposal is March 6, at 4 pm.
