In celebration of International Women’s Day, a collaborative webinar of the Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC) and the High School department of DLSU-D entitled “She Talks: Women Issues and Advocacies in Times of the Pandemic” is scheduled on March 18, 2021 at 2 pm-5 pm via MSTeam Live.

This webinar seeks to draw attention to the various abuses being experienced by women. It also seeks to promote awareness on other gender-based issues during the time of pandemic and underscore the need to protect women’s rights and uphold gender sensitivity. The event also aims to spread information on women’s rights and gender advocacies to encourage students’ participation towards women empowerment, especially in leadership and gender equality.

With this year’s International Women’s Day theme “Choose to Challenge,” members of the Lasallian community are invited to attend the event to become partners in creating a community that promotes and builds up gender equal communities and shape awareness against women/gender biases and abuses.
