The Office of the Chief Lasallian Mission Officer is inviting members of the Lasallian community to recommit to "our vocation and mission as Lasallians" as DLSU-D celebrates the Declaration of the University's Founder as patron of all teachers. The event is held in partnership with the De La Salle Health and Sciences Institute.
On May 16, 2022, DLSU-D will hold an event entitled "HOPE TO COMMITMENT: Rededicating Ourselves to the Lasallian Mission towards restoration, renewal and fullness of life," which will begin 9:00 A.M. at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Chapel. It will be presided by Rev. Fr. Alain Manalo, the Episcopal Vicar for Catholic Education of the Diocese of Imus.
The Mass will be followed by a procession from DLSU-D to DLSMHSI, the blessing of images of St. John Baptist de la Salle and the ritual of commitment.
As such, Lasallians are invited to bring statues of St. John Baptist De la Salle and a candle for the blessing. Attendees are also requested to wear any Green La Salle shirt during the event.
"May this be an opportunity for us to gather, be renewed and be inspired most especially in fulfilling our educational mission as one Lasallian family," the OVCMF said.
