The Advancement and Alumni Relations Office announced the winners of the Share the Animo Raffle Surprise via DLSU-D’s official Lasallian Giving Facebook page.
Among the three lucky winners were Christianne Cabral for the High School Grand Prize, Josephine Cruz for Graduate School, and Princess Mae Elardo for the College Grand Prize.
“The Share The Animo Raffle Surprise or STARS is now on its 2nd run and continues to provide an opportunity for anyone to support Lasallian education. For this year's edition of STARS, the organizing committee decided to offer prizes that would entail free tuition and miscellaneous fees to the winners in the high school, college and graduate school categories. This novel idea is something that I hope can be sustained and supported continuously by the university, its community, its partners and friends,” AERO Director Marco Polo said.
He expressed gratitude to the sectoral partners and everyone who bought tickets for the project.
“Your support will go a long way in making Lasallian education more accessible. For every ticket bought will support the DLSU-D Scholarship Program. May the STARS project continue to shine and inspire all of us to make possibilities happen,” he added.
According to Polo, this year’s winners will be receiving their prize based on a 50/50 scheme which was previously discussed in the guidelines in the event that ticket sales do not meet the minimum target.
Even though pandemic challenges tolled heavily on the STARS2 project, this has not dampened the spirits of the AERO team as they are already planning their next project to support the advocacy of Lasallian education.
