
De La Salle University-Dasmarinas (DLSU-D) Language Learning Center (LLC) welcomed students from Teikyo University of Japan to its Language Proficiency Program - English for International Communication (LPP-EIC). This program, which will run for 12 weeks, aims to elevate students' English language skills for effective international communication while enhancing their intercultural competencies.
The LPP-EIC program is a dynamic and comprehensive endeavor designed to equip students with the tools and confidence needed to excel in a globalized world. Its primary objectives include improving students' proficiency in interpersonal, academic, workplace, and intercultural communication skills. The program also places strong emphasis on enhancing listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities, as well as preparing participants for international standardized English exams
"The English language serves as a bridge for interlingual and intercultural communication. It is an essential tool in both education and future professions. Our students need to enhance their language competencies, and DLSU-D's EIC Program is purposefully designed to meet this need," LLC Director Angeline Cayago said.
The Teikyo University students will stay in the Philippines until December 10 to complete the program.
