Embracing the theme "Kristo, Liwanag ng Paskong Lasalyano," De La Salle University-Dasmariñas' Christmas celebration invites the community to partake in the creation of meaningful moments, fostering a Christ-centered jubilation.
To make the holiday more meaningful, DLSU-D will roll out a series of events that seeks to strengthen the community's unity as one Lasallian family under the Pasko JUAN celebration banner.
From November 27 to December 2, the El Rastro Christmas Bazaar set the festive tone for the holidays. On December 1, the Hatiran ng Liwanag marked the ceremonial blessing of lights, heralding the grand opening of the Pasko Juan Village. On December 6, the Institutional Advent Recollection, followed by the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on December 7, and the Graduate School’s Advent Recollection will connect the community with the true essence of the season.
Simbang Gabi, taking place from December 15 to 23, aims to connect the community with the age-old tradition, while Pasko ng Pagkalinga will occur on December 17. The spirit of giving takes center stage from December 1 to 19 with "It's Giving SzN - DLSU-D Gift Giving." On December 18, Sectoral Christmas celebrations set the festive mood, leading up to the Institutional Christmas Party on December 19. As Christmas Eve approaches, a special Mass is held on December 24, followed by a New Year's Eve Mass on December 31 to bid farewell to the year.
"Together let's revel in the spirit of love, joy, and compassion, eagerly anticipating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pack your enthusiasm, bring along family and friends, and let's make this Christmas truly unforgettable by illuminating our hearts with the light of Christ. Spread the news, mark your calendars, and get ready for the commencement of these joyous celebrations!,” the PASKO Juan committee posted in their message to the community.
