On World Teachers Day, the Lasallian community extends its heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed Lasallian educators who have played a pivotal role in shaping and nurturing the next generation of our country's future leaders.
As Lasallian educators tirelessly continue their mission to touch hearts, teach minds, and transform lives, they are constantly faced with the challenge of going the extra mile. Their mission extends beyond delivering quality education through traditional book learning and technology. They are also called upon to serve as role models, inspiring compassion and a genuine concern for society and its people.
“The difference between teaching and educating is that the former addresses skills, knowledge, and even values while the latter covers the development of the whole person. I hope that whenever we engage with our students we know when is the right time to teach them and we are always aware of the best opportunity to educate them,” DLSU-D Chief Administrative Officer Dr. Marco Saez said.
