The Library and Information Services (LIS) Month at DLSU-D, held at the Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo-IRC, concluded successfully.
The event themed “AklatanVOCACY: Creative Initiatives for Lasallian and Partner Communities,” celebrated the vital role of libraries in promoting language and community engagement.
Activities included the Maleta Project and Hingahan Wellness Program, with the highlight being an exhibit of never-before-seen photographs taken by the late National Artist F. Sionil Jose.
The photo exhibit featured lectures from the Languages and Literature Department and a special tribute from the family of F.Sionil, who shared personal stories of his life as a writer and father.
