DLSU-D honored the birth anniversary of former University President Br. Andrew Gonzalez FSC through a professorial chair lecture in linguistics delivered by Language and Literature Department Chair Dr. Lourdes Rudio at the Ayuntamiento de Gonzalez.

Dr. Rudio’s paper centered on “Politeness of Filipino HEI Students in Realizing Computer-Mediated Requests.”

Also present during the lecture were past holders of Br. Andrew Gonzalez Professorial Chair for Linguistics Dr. Constantino Ballena, Dr. Teresita Pareja, Dr. Jonathan Gochuico, and Dr. Mary Ann Escoto.
