The Information and Communications Center (ICTC), led by Training Officer Derick Gil Orbe, successfully re-launched the ITrain Series, a series of workshops, seminars, and training sessions designed for faculty, staff, and students.
The initiative seeks to enhance the digital skills of the academic community, with the first installment focusing on Event Certificates Automation using MS Power Automate.
Held at the ICTC computer laboratories, the workshop garnered immense interest, leading to an overwhelming number of participants. As a result, the session was conducted for three separate batches to accommodate all the attedees who registered.
Participants praised the hands-on approach and expertise of the speaker, Ron Darell"Ardie" Marquez, the ICT's Web Developer while the Web and documentation Team also received positive feedback for the well organized event.
After the sucess of the Power Automate sessions, faculty and students from the College of Professional and Graduate Studies can look forward to the second installment of the ITrain series on Cyber Security Awareness. This will be held in partnership with Solutions Partner and SonicWall.
