The Museo De La Salle will hold a second round of lectures related to the ongoing exhibition, Glimpses of Cavite. This event, entitled "Hazards to Heritage: The Colonial Churches of Cavite," will be presented by the Cavite Historical Society's Board of Trustees and the Silang Historical Society's President, Mr. Phillip N.A.L. Medina.
The lecture will take place on July 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Zaguan, Museo De La Salle. This lecture will emphasize the importance of preservation and the steps that can be taken to safeguard these cultural treasures for future generations. The exhibition, which showcases a collection of heritage churches established during the Spanish colonial period, is still on view until July 31, 2024.
The exhibit features stunning photography and videography, harnessing current technologies to offer a dual communication experience through both the museum and an online platform. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich history and architectural beauty of Cavite's colonial churches.
