DLSU-D has officially launched their Institutional Christmas Celebration with the theme, “PaskoJuan 2024: Our Hearts Beat as One!”
The event marks the beginning of a season filled with joy, reflection, and unity within the community. It featured several highlights, including the traditional Lantern Parade, the Christmas Lighting Ceremony, and the highly awaited release of the annual Christmas ID.
This year’s Christmas ID, titled “Our Hearts Beat as One,” encapsulates the university’s shared journey, symbolizing its collective spirit and anticipation for the season of Advent and Christmas. Its music video expresses the heartfelt emotions of the Lasallian community as they come together to celebrate.
In his message to the community, Jose Ritche Bongcaron, Chief Lasallian Mission Officer, conveyed his excitement for the occasion and extended an invitation for everyone to partake in the festivities.
“It is our hope that we come together for this celebration not just to witness the unveiling of lights for the season but to prepare ourselves to welcome the true light that illuminates our journey as a community of disciples eager to welcome him on Christmas Day,” Bongcaron said.
With PaskoJuan 2024, DLSU-D continues to embrace its Lasallian values of faith, service, and community, making this Christmas season one of reflection, hope, and togetherness.
