The University Research Office (URO) will spearhead the DLSU-D Research Week from March 4-9, 2024 with the theme "Forging the Culture of Research and Innovation Towards a More Resilient Future."
The opening ceremony on March 4 at the MTH covered court will kick off the week-long activities which will also include exhibits and bazaar, Museo and FabLab Open House, College Research Day, movie viewing, Research Quiz Bee, Paper Presentation Competition, Write Tools Workshop, Orientation on Research Funding Mechanisms, Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo learning Sessions, and a pitching competition.
The closing ceremony will be held on March 8 at 8:30 am while the Gawad Lasalyano sa Pananaliksik will be held on the same day at the Tanghalang Julian Felipe.
Faculty members may consider any of the activities as alternative classes without filing filled-out alternative forms. However, this should be coordinated closely with the University Research Office in that specific venues may not be able to accommodate big crowds. When faculty members are required to attend specific activities, they must shift to asynchronous class. Participating students, on the other hand, shall be excused from their respective classes and be allowed to submit their assessments late without deduction," Vice Chief Administrative Officer for Academics and Research Dr. Cristina Salibay said in her message to the community.
