
De La Salle University - Dasmariñas, through Museo de La Salle and Senior High School Department, hosted the Cavite leg of Sound Camp Manila's Soundwalk.
Brother President, Br. Francisco “Sockie” V. de La Rosa VI, FSC, welcomed fifteen (15) delegates from UP College of Fine Arts and scholars from Hong Kong led by Dr. Dayang Yraola.
Meanwhile, Linkages and Scholarship Office Director, Dr. Christian George C. Francisco, provided an extensive orientation about DLSU-D while Prof. Geraldine Zamora, director of Campus Sustainability Office, provided an insightful discussion related to the University’s sustainability practices.
The morning session was capped off by a tour inside Museo de La Salle.
Soundwalk’s afternoon session was attended by Senior High School Department’s Performing Arts Group members. The focus of the session centers on the sharing of outputs by campers from UP Diliman. The attendees were able to participate in an actual sound walk and was facilitated by Hong Kong-based art practitioners and scholars, Dr. Edward Sanderson and Mr. Brian Chu. The session concluded with sharing from SHS students of their outputs.
