The Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo-Information Resource Center (AEA-IRC) is inviting the DLSU-D community to its Bible Week event.
The event, titled “Exploring the Roots: Understanding the Greek and Hebrew Origins of the Bible,” will take place on January 30, 2025, at 8:30 AM, at the AEA-IRC Ground Floor.
This event will feature a two-part lecture on the linguistic roots of the Bible, to be facilitated by Br. Jimmy Dalumpines, FSC, Brother Animator of AEA-IRC and former Board of Trustees member at DLSU-D. This will offer participants a deeper understanding of the texts’ cultural and historical context.
In addition to the lectures, attendees will have the opportunity to view an exhibit showcasing Br. Dalumpines' personal Bible collection. This exhibit will be open to the public from January 30 until February 7.
This event is made possible through a collaborative effort between AEA, the Campus Ministry Office, and the College of Education-Religious Education Department.
