The Communication and Journalism Department (CJD) of DLSU-D received the Bronze Award for Excellence in Public Relations Institution at the 5th ASEAN PR Excellence Awards held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Presented by ASEAN PR Network President Dr. (H.C.) Hermawan Kartajaya Gani and Awards Co-Chair Fiona Cassidy, the recognition highlights CJD’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and leadership in public relations and communication.
“This award is a testament to the hard work and vision of our faculty, students, and staff,” said CJD Associate Professor Marco Polo, PhD.
“We are honored to represent the Philippines and contribute meaningfully to the ASEAN PR community,” he added.
The recognition affirms the department’s impact on the region’s communication landscape through academic excellence and community engagement.
This marks DLSU-D’s second recognition at the bi-annual awards, which coincided with the 7th Kuala Lumpur International Public Relations Conference.
