During the Institutional Christmas Party, Brother President Iñigo Riola FSC delivered a heartfelt message to the faculty and staff of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, emphasizing the enduring presence of God in the lives of Lasallians.
Reflecting on the pastoral letter Fratres in Unum by Superior General Br. Armin Luistro FSC, Br. Riola reminded the community of a profound truth: “God is Communion. Ang Diyos ay hindi malayo. Ang Diyos ay lagi nating kaisa.”
He highlighted that this truth is experienced through acts of fraternity and care within the university—whether in colleagues supporting one another, students gaining confidence through encouragement, or friendships that sustain during challenging times.
Br. Riola urged everyone to see Christmas as a time of gratitude for relationships that embody God’s love.
“As we celebrate Christmas, may we continue making the love of the Triune God visible in our world,” he said, wishing the community a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.
The celebration served as a reminder that God’s love is made real through closeness, humility, and everyday acts of kindness, reinforcing the Lasallian mission of faith, service, and communion.
