DLSU-D participated in a benchmarking meeting for the Complementary Pathways (CPath) initiative, aimed at creating educational pathways for marginalized individuals.
The event brought together stakeholders, including De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Bureau of Immigration (BI), De La Salle Philippines Business Incubator (DLSPBI), and De La Salle University (DLSU).
The meeting focused on sharing best practices and discussing program implementation. Four CPath beneficiaries, currently enrolled in Computer Engineering, shared their success stories.
Ritche Bongcaron, DLSU-D’s Chief Lasallian Mission Officer, emphasized that the initiative aligns with the university's values.
"This program calls us to live the Lasallian mission and the value of creating possibilities," he said.
The CPath initiative reflects DLSU-D's commitment to empowering marginalized individuals through education and promoting inclusivity.
