Dr. Alrien Francisco-Dausan, a faculty member of the DLSU-D College of Criminal Justice Education, recently received the prestigious Dakilang Kriminologo Award.
Dr. Dausan personally received the honor during the 1st Philippine Criminology Profession Week and 28th PCAP Convention held at Okada Manila.
In her message, Dr. Dausan extended her gratitude to the awarding committee, led by PCAP President Gerry Cano, as well as her mentors, students, and the Philippine Criminology community.
She shared her thoughts on the honor, saying, “This recognition inspires me to continue advocating for excellence in criminology education and to use academia as a powerful tool for social change.”
Dr. Dausan has long been an advocate for bridging theory and practice in criminology, preparing students not only as skilled professionals but also as compassionate and socially responsible individuals.
The Dakilang Kriminologo Award, established to honor the legacy of Justice Felix Angelo Bautista, is given to individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the field of criminology, demonstrating exceptional leadership and dedication to justice.
As she continues her work in criminology education, Dr. Dausan looks forward to collaborating with fellow professionals and advancing the field toward greater social justice and reform.
