DLSU-D Calls for Donations for Typhoon Victims

In response to the recent devastation caused by typhoons and the southwest monsoon (habagat), DLSU-D is appealing to the Lasallian community and the public to extend support to hundreds of families affected by the calamities.
With the spirit of faith, service, and communion in mission, the university—through its Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC)—has launched a donation drive to aid those in urgent need of food, medicines, and other essential supplies.
How to Help
1. Cash DonationsMonetary donations will help provide immediate relief including meals, medical aid, and hygiene kits to affected families.
Donations may be deposited via UnionBank or through the DLSU-D Cashier’s Office.
Donors are requested to email a copy of their proof of donation to lcdc@dlsud.edu.ph for proper acknowledgment.
2. In-Kind Donations
The following items are urgently needed:
- Rice
- 3-in-1 Coffee or Powdered Drinks
- Canned Goods
- Toiletries
- Medicines
Drop-off donations at the LCDC Office, 2nd Floor, Mariano Alvarez Hall (MAH Building) from July 23 to August 15, 2025.
This initiative echoes the Lasallian mission to be a beacon of compassion and solidarity during times of crisis. The university believes that every act of kindness—no matter how small—can help restore dignity, hope, and healing to those who have lost so much.
