
DLSU-D showcased excellence on the global stage at the 22nd Economix: Global Economic Challenges, an esteemed international event organized by Universitas Indonesia.
Economix is a three-day international event organized by Universitas Indonesia. The event, held under FEB UI, brought together brilliant minds from around the world to discuss pressing economic issues and explore innovative solutions.
DLSU-D's Kevin Roy David, a BSBA Business Economics student, earned the prestigious Model United Nations Most Outstanding Delegate Award in the UNCTAD Council, a testament to his outstanding diplomacy, analytical skills, and economic insight.
Joining him in representing DLSU-D were fellow Business Economics students Brian Pasion and Maria Angela Dela Cruz, who competed in the highly competitive Paper Competition, and John Carl Yusongco, who also participated in the Model United Nations segment. The team was expertly coached and mentored by Dr. Alice T. Valerio, professor of Business and Economics in DLSU-D.
Economix is an internationally recognized forum that fosters dialogue among students of diverse backgrounds and disciplines, equipping them with the opportunity to present, discuss, and devise solutions to pressing global economic challenges.
