
The Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC) of DLSU-D was recently awarded with a Certificate of Recognition at the Gawad Dugong CALABARZON 2024, held in Muntinlupa City.
This award was presented to LCDC in acknowledgment of its active support during the National Voluntary Blood Services Program (NVBSP), which is dedicated to ensuring a safe and sufficient blood supply for the CALABARZON region.
LCDC expressed its gratitude to the individuals who contributed to the success of this cause. The center highlighted that the award is not just a recognition of its efforts but also a reflection of its core mission to serve the community with compassion.
“This achievement is a testament of LCDC's commitment to service, compassion, and making a difference in the lives of others,” said LCDC in their social media post.
The certificate was signed by Ariel I. Valencia, MD, MPH, CESO III, Assistant Secretary of Health and was personally accepted by Sofia Gapasin, LCDC faculty.
