Museo De La Salle (MDLS) recently organized the “Literacy-Empowered Future Preparedness Workshop” as part of Project MALETA.
This initiative aimed to enhance community literacy by focusing on the following objectives:
- Developing a deeper understanding of the impact of literacy on individuals and communities.
- Acquiring practical skills and strategies for effective reading management.
- Equipping participants with the knowledge and tools necessary for successful project implementation.
- Contributing to a nationwide initiative promoting literacy and education.
- Enhancing psychological readiness for effective community immersion and project implementation.
Project MALETA (Museo, Aklatan, and LCDC – Engage, Transform, Access) is a collaborative effort between MDL, DLSU-D Library, and LCDC, aligning with the university’s commitment to Christian Education and community transformation.
