Eleven PhD students from DLSU-D’s College of Professional and Graduate Studies (CPGS) formalized their upcoming academic exchange program to Thailand.
A hybrid contract signing ceremony between DLSU-D and Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) was done to formalize the agreement. This initiative is part of the ongoing bilateral agreement between the two universities.
Six students from the PhD in Counseling (School and Community Counseling) program—Ruiza Mari B. Derain, Angelito A. Aniag, Melisa S. Gonzales, Mark P. Solo III, Maria Ligaya D. Lopez, and Rubia A. Abdulwahab—will undergo immersion from August 10–24, 2025, accompanied by faculty member Dr. Olivia Legaspi.
Meanwhile, five students from the PhD in Educational Management program—Zyldjian Tepora, Rufino G. Perilla, Glewil B. Dones, Yolanda L. Del Rosario, and Karen Dyan H. Bautista—will have their immersion from August 24 to September 6, 2025, with Dr. Manuel Camarse representing the faculty.
Dr. Christian George Francisco, outgoing VP for Global Engagement, and Dr. Leo Manansala, CPGS Vice Dean, also attended the ceremony. Dr. Francisco emphasized that such international immersions greatly enhance academic experiences and foster stronger global partnerships.
“They will powerfully enrich the academic experience of our students and faculty, and in doing so, strengthen our bonds with global partners,” he said.
