DLSU-D, in partnership with the International Association of Lasallian Universities (IALU), will host the La Salle Summer Program also known as the Global Student Leadership Program, from July 6 to 19, 2025.
Led by DLSU-D’s Office of the President and the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations (OVPGEER), the program will bring together student leaders from Lasallian institutions worldwide. Participants will undergo training on Lasallian leadership principles and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
“This program underscores our commitment to fostering a global Lasallian community,” said Br. Francisco “Sockie” de la Rosa, DLSU-D President.
“By equipping these student leaders with the knowledge and values of Lasallian education, we are empowering them to become agents of positive change,” he added.
The program will feature facilitators from Lasallian schools globally, alongside DLSU-D faculty. Dr. Christian George Francisco of OVPGEER emphasized that the program will foster intercultural collaboration and growth.
“This program will provide a platform for students to learn, collaborate, appreciate interculturality, and grow together,” Dr. Francisco said.
IALU, representing over 60 institutions, aims to strengthen the Lasallian identity and network worldwide. The program will be held in DLSU-D, providing an ideal setting for learning and collaboration.
