De La Salle University–Dasmariñas hosted the Dasmariñas leg of the FINEX Finance Educators Training Program (FETP) 2026, a two-day intensive on "Capital Market Fundamentals" at the ADG Reception Hall. Run by the FINEX Foundation Business Education Committee, the program equips finance faculty to bring a working grasp of capital markets into their classrooms.
In his opening message, University President Br. Iñigo Riola FSC said finance education teaches responsible decision-making — preparing students not only for their careers but for the financial choices that shape their lives. He thanked the FINEX Research and Development Foundation and the Capital Markets Development Foundation for bringing the program to the University, and affirmed DLSU-D's commitment to strengthening finance instruction.
Resource speakers included FINEX leaders and past presidents Eleanor Rivera, Rhoderick Santos, Santiago F. Dumlao, Jr., Franklin Ysaac, Roberto Borromeo, and Jose Jerome Pascual. Participants also toured Museo De La Salle's Bahay na Bato, pairing the technical sessions with a look at 19th-century Filipino heritage.
