De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), through the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations (OVPGEER), recently held a send-off program for Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Linh (Jessica), an exchange student from Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE), marking the successful completion of her academic exchange at the University.
Hosted during the second semester of Academic Year 2025–2026, Jessica pursued studies under the Biology Department of the College of Science, where she actively participated in academic and cultural activities while experiencing life within the Lasallian community.
As part of DLSU-D’s internationalization initiatives, Jessica joined fellow international students in a cultural immersion visit to key historical sites in Manila, organized by the Linkages and Scholarship Office. The activity provided valuable opportunities for cultural exchange and global learning beyond the classroom.
A recognition and awarding ceremony was held at the OVPGEER Office, where Jessica received a Certificate of Completion for her participation in the University’s student mobility program. The event celebrated her academic achievements and contributions during her stay at DLSU-D.
Present at the send-off program were Maria Nornelyn Cachuela, Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations; Dr. Mario Torres, Dean of the College of Science; Dr. Arizaldo Castro, Chair of the Biology Department; Irene Gueco, Director of the Linkages and Scholarship Office; and Agnes Olarte, International Mobility Officer.
DLSU-D continues to strengthen global partnerships and international mobility programs, fostering cross-cultural learning and academic collaboration among students worldwide.
