The renowned Lasallian Green Hills music ministry Kundirana visited De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) recently, bringing with them the spirit of music, faith, and mission ahead of their much-anticipated concert this March.
Coordinated by Br. Gus Boquer, FSC, the visit served as a meaningful reconnection between the iconic singing ensemble and the Lasallian community in Dasmariñas. Known for their commitment to excellence in music and faith-based service, Kundirana’s presence on campus generated excitement among students and faculty alike.
The group’s itinerary highlighted key landmarks across the university, reflecting both its modern advancements and historical character.
Their tour began at the newly inaugurated Maria Salome Llanera Hall, home to the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology (CEAT). The state-of-the-art facility showcased DLSU-D’s continued investment in innovation and academic development.
From there, the members proceeded to the Cultural Heritage Complex and Museo De La Salle, where they explored the university’s Filipino-Spanish architectural heritage and curated historical collections. The visit offered a glimpse into the institution’s rich cultural identity and long-standing Lasallian tradition.
The group also made a reflective stop at the University Chapel before concluding their tour at the Ayuntamiento de Gonzalez building. The campus visit serves as a prelude to Kundirana’s upcoming performance at the Dasmariñas Arena on March 12.
The concert, made possible through a partnership with the Office of the City Mayor of Dasmariñas, Hon. Jennifer Barzaga, is expected to draw students, alumni, and members of the local community. Recognized for their world-class harmonies and advocacy-driven performances, their upcoming concert promises not only an evening of exceptional artistry, but also a celebration of shared Lasallian values.
