Today, De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) celebrates the Feast of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, honoring the legacy of the patron saint of teachers and founder of the Lasallian mission.
The commemoration looked back on St. La Salle’s enduring impact since his passing in 1719, with his mission continuing to shape Lasallian institutions around the world. His vision remains relevant in today’s changing educational landscape.
The celebration highlighted the core Lasallian values of faith, service, and communion, emphasizing education as a vocation rooted in compassion, dignity, and purpose. These principles continue to guide the university’s approach to holistic formation.
Members of the DLSU-D community were encouraged to embody these values in their daily lives—fostering meaningful learning, extending service to others, and strengthening a shared sense of mission.
Through the observance, the university reaffirmed its commitment to forming individuals who lead with empathy and integrity, inspired by the lasting example of St. La Salle.
“Live Jesus in our hearts… forever.”
