Students from Teikyo University in Japan began a three-month stay at De La Salle University-Dasmariñas as the Language Learning Center (LLC) formally opened the Language Proficiency Program – Exchange International Collaboration (LPP–EIC) 2026 on September 7 at the ADG Hall, Ayuntamiento Building.
Provost Dr. Christian George C. Francisco opened the program, pointing to cultural exchange as a way of strengthening academic partnerships between institutions. LLC Director Dr. Angeline V. Cayago followed with a welcome message to the visiting students.
The ceremony also introduced the participants and their language specialists and included interactive games and a video testimonial presented by Dr. Johnny A. Ching. The DLSU-D Chorale and the La Salle Filipiniana Dance Company performed for the guests.
University President Br. Iñigo R. Riola, FSC, closed the program with a message of appreciation for the University's partner institutions. Prof. Joseph Tabolt of Teikyo University responded on behalf of the international collaborators, as the exchange students settle in for a term of language study and immersion on campus.
