DLSU-D Senior High School has kicked off its collaboration with the DLSU-D College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) to streamline the transfer of credits from high school to college under the UPLINKED program.
Under the collaboration, the courses Fundamentals of ABM (FABM) 1 and FABM 2 are now recognized as credits for the Intensive Basic Accounting subject in the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) and Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) programs at CBAA.
This partnership benefits ABM students who intend to pursue degrees in BSA and BSM, as they will be exempt from taking this subject in college if they meet the minimum grade requirement.
“DLSU-D Senior High School curriculum is a pre-university curriculum meant to prepare our students to college with the necessary life and 21st century skills. UPLINKED is one of them - not only offering subjects with University standards but also reducing the units to be taken in college. This makes higher education more accessible and students can focus on other subjects,” DLSU-D SHS Principal Marlon Pareja said.
