DLSU-D High School students recently participated in an exchange program with St. Mary’s School (SMS) in Sagada, accompanied by faculty members.
The first day of the exchange included a Servant Leadership and Service-Learning seminar, followed by an Eco Walk, offering students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture and environment.
Marlon Pareja, Principal of DLSU-D High School, highlighted the value of cultural exchanges in fostering an appreciation for diversity and heritage preservation.
“It allows DLSU-D High School students to engage firsthand with indigenous traditions, values, and ways of life—something that textbooks alone cannot fully capture,” Pareja added.
This initiative aligns with DLSU-D High School’s commitment to nurturing socially and globally aware students.
