
The University Research Office (URO) launched the Gov. Juanito R. Remulla, Sr. Professorial Chair in Political Science through an online event and unveiled the Professorial Chair symbol.
The event was attended by University President Br. Gus Boquer, FSC, EdD, Vice Chief Administrative Officer for Academics and Research Dr. Marco S. Saez, Vice Chief Administrative Officer for Mission, External Affairs and Advancement Dr. Myrna F. Ramos, Assistant Vice Chief Administrative Officer for Research Dr. Emmanuel F. Calairo, College of Liberal Arts and Communication Dean Dr. Betty E. Tuttle, Social Sciences Department Chair Loreto G. Camiloza, and URO Director Dr. Johnny Ching, on the part of DLSU-D. The Remulla family was represented by 7th District of Cavite Rep. Jesus Crispin Remulla.
During the launching, the professorial chair symbol, created by artist Richard Buxani, was turned over to the First Chair Holder Jan Phillip D. Mallari. The symbol, which represents the professorial chair, will be passed down to the next awardees of the Gov. Juanito R. Remulla, Sr. Professorial Chair in Political Science.
The event was hosted by Prof. Jonathan Gochuico.
