With the new normal chalenges that came with the COVID-19 pandemic, the faculty and staff members together with the administrators, have to creatively adapt to the situation.
Among the measures adopted by the University is undertaking a flexible work arrangement to ensure the safety of the Lasallian community and guarantee continuous students’ learning and school operation.
The measure does come with challenges as well and can factor in a feeling of isolation. The stress, worries, and the demands of home and work life can be harmful to a person’s mental health. Along with the impacts of the pandemic in the academe, employees are challenged to adopt new processes and measures to perform their functions and ensure unceasing services to our stakeholders.
The DLSU-D GABAY: Employees’ Mental Health Care and Support Program seeks to introduce activities to counter the mental health challenges of the pandemic through effective employees’, work engagement, and various interventions.
|Personalized Programming||This feature of our wellness program is designed for employees who need health, fitness and psychological interventions. It aims to provide assistance, guidance, and counseling psychotherapy in resolving personal, social, and psychological challenges and difficulties.|
|Wellness Wednesday||A bi-monthly activity featuring various creative wellness topics. The activity aims to nurture employees well-being, and foster the concept of work-life balance.|
|Fitness Friday||A day dedicated for physical fitness. This salient feature promotes fitness activities and aims to boost health benefits, weight loss and relieve stress|
|Let’s Get ICED (Interest Clubs for Employees of DLSU-D)||The activity encourages employees to form/participate in guarantee continuous students’ learning and school operation.an interest club. It aims to establish a sustainable support system for our employees.|
