Computer Engineering (CPE) students of DLSU-D made their mark on the national stage as they received an award for their groundbreaking project, ROOMBERO: Automated Emergency Fire Fighting System.

Developed by Andrei Lee, Royjones De Leon, Christian Vinarao, and Justin Compañero, under the supervision of Adviser Engr. Mark Montances and Co-Adviser Engr. Ferdinand Osorio, received high praise for its innovation and potential to revolutionize fire safety.

The project was honored with the Outstanding Award for Research, Development, Innovation, and Invention during the 2^nd Philippine Integrated Fire Protection Organization National Convention, held at the Development Academy of the Philippines in Tagaytay on September 6, 2024.
