The De La Salle University-Dasmariñas Herminia D. Torres Quality Assurance Office (HDT-QAO) conducted a three-day workshop on Self-Assessment Report (SAR) Writing for Successful AUN-QA Programme Assessment facilitated by Johnson Ong Chee Bin.
Faculty members from the College of Liberal Arts and Communication (CLAC), College of Science (COS), College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA), and College of Education (CoEd) were invited to learn how to craft SARs for programs on Secondary Education, Political Science, Marketing, and Biology.
According to HDT-QAO Senior Director Dr. Lucille Calairo, the workshop on AUN-QA program assessment will help DLSU-D in further enhancing its programs and services.
“It's about time that we learn from experts in the ASEAN region. I am really glad that our academic leaders believe in the value of this assessment. We are starting with four programs but after the first batch of assessment, we are looking at more programs undergoing this assessment. We are also sending our academic leaders to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 training of AUN-QA so we can develop more QA champions at the university,” she said.
