De La Salle University-Dasmariñas students joined the call for transparency and accountability in governance during the Lasallians Against Corruption Forum, held recently and spearheaded by the University Student Government (USG).
The forum featured prominent advocates, including Akbayan Party List Representative Atty. Chel Diokno, Youth Against Kurakot (YAK) Lead Convenor Khyla Meneses, and Student Council Alliance of the Philippines (SCAP) Vice Chairperson for Luzon Alvin Sagaben.
Participants discussed current legislative efforts aimed at promoting integrity and accountability in government, emphasizing the critical role of youth and students in fostering ethical leadership.
USG representatives highlighted the importance of student involvement in nation-building, encouraging Lasallians to actively engage in advocacy for transparency and good governance.
The event underscored DLSU-D’s commitment to cultivating socially responsible leaders who uphold justice, integrity, and accountability—values at the heart of the Lasallian mission.
