The DLSU-D Campus Ministry invites us to gather in faith and devotion for the annual Flores de Mayo celebration on May 31, carrying the theme “Maria, Tala ng Pag-asa sa Landasin ng Buhay.” This cherished Filipino tradition honors the Blessed Virgin Mary as a beacon of hope and a guiding light in our spiritual journey.
The event will begin at 4:30 PM with a solemn Marian procession, followed by the celebration of the Holy Mass, floral offering, and fellowship at 5:00 PM, held at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Chapel. Everyone is encouraged to bring candles and flowers as symbolic offerings of love and gratitude to our Blessed Mother, who continually accompanies us with her strength and tender care.
In the spirit of unity and community, participants are also invited to bring simple food to share after the celebration. This gesture reflects not only Filipino hospitality but also the Lasallian commitment to faith, service, and communion. Through this gathering, the University hopes to deepen bonds within the community while fostering renewed devotion to Mary.
