
De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) has successfully concluded a series of intensive strategic planning sessions throughout May, June, and July 2025, culminating in a final presentation of its plans and programs for Academic Year 2025-2026. With the theme: “Towards a Future-Ready, Mission-Rooted Globally Engaged University”, these workshops brought together key institutional leaders, administrators, and academic community members to collaboratively shape a responsive, innovative, and future-ready university.
Laying the Groundwork: Vision and Aspirations
The strategic planning journey commenced with a Pre-Planning Workshop on April 29, 2025, at the Br. Andrew Gonzalez FSC Reception Hall. Facilitated by Dr. Aldrin P. Antivola, this initial session focused on mind-setting, effective communication, and identifying strategic gaps.
Dr. Cristina C. Salibay, University Provost and current OIC President, articulated ten key aspirations for DLSU-Dasmariñas, emphasizing growth with purpose, faith, and integrity.




The workshop introduced the "PRIME Team" (Planning for Renewal, Innovation, Management, and Excellence), setting a collaborative tone for the entire process.
Academic Pillars Take Center Stage
The subsequent sessions delved into the specific plans of the university's academic and support units:
- 2nd Session (June 2, 2025): College Deans presented their objectives, SWOT analyses, projects, programs, timelines, and budgets. Dr. Antivola provided constructive feedback, emphasizing the SMART framework and cross-departmental collaboration.










- 3rd Session (June 5, 2025): Directors from various Academic Support Services, including Center for Student Admissions (CSA), Office of the University Registrar (OUR), Academic Planning and Quality Management – Herminia D. Torres Quality Assurance Office (APQM-HDTQAO), Office of the Vice President Deputy for Research (OVPDR), Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo-Information Resource Center (AEA-IRC), School of Innovative and Flexible Learning (SIFL), and Office of the Student Services (OSS), showcased their strategic contributions.








- 4th Session (July 25, 2025): This session at the ADG Reception Hall featured presentations from Basic Education, units under the Office of the President, namely, Corporate and Executive Management Office (CEMO), Museo De La Salle (MDLS), Presidential Communications Adviser (PCA), Risk, Compliance, and Audit Office (RCAO), and offices under the Chief Lasallian Mission Office, specifically, Campus Ministry Office (CMO), University Lasallian Formation Office (ULFO), DLSU-D Bahay Pag-Asa (DLSUD-D BP), Night College, Sports Development Office (SDO). These presentations highlighted strategies across academic, cultural, communication, risk management, and mission-driven initiatives.








Solidifying the Operational Backbone: Administrative Excellence
- 5th and Final Planning Session (July 27, 2025): Also held at the Br. Andrew Gonzalez FSC Reception Hall, this pivotal session concentrated on the comprehensive plans from units under the Chief Administrative Office. Presenters included the Building and Facilities Management Office (BFMO), Campus Sustainability Office (CSO), General Services Office (GSO), Purchasing Office, Safety and Health Wellness Office (SHWO), Information and Communication Technology Center (ICTC), Ancillary and Asset Management Office (AAMO), Human Resources Management Office (HRMO), Data Protection Office (DPO), Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations (OVPGEER), Finance Office, Treasury Office, Budget Office, and Accounting Office. This session solidified the operational and financial strategies crucial for supporting the university's goals.









Culmination and Future Direction
The entire planning series culminated in a Final Strategic Plans Presentation on July 17, 2025, at the Bay Leaf in General Trias. All academic leaders presented their crafted plans to the university's top leadership and esteemed Board of Trustees (BOT) members: Br. John David Ong, FSC and Br. Cyrill Kino Escolano, FSC, underscoring the collective commitment to the university's vision for SY 2025-2026.




The day commenced with inspiring welcome remarks from Dr. Cristina Salibay, the University Provost and current OIC President, who set a visionary tone for the presentations. A significant moment of the day was the commitment signing and pledge of commitment by the administrators, symbolizing their unified dedication to the strategic roadmap.







This was followed by a heartfelt send-off celebration dedicated to the retiring University Provost, Dr. Cristina Salibay, in recognition of her invaluable contributions and transformative leadership.

The day concluded with a solemn Mass, reinforcing the university's core values of faith and service.

Following the spiritual gathering, Dr. Sonia M. Gementiza, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), delivered insightful closing remarks, outlining the path forward and reinforcing the collaborative spirit essential for the successful implementation of the strategic plans.

The comprehensive strategic roadmap developed through these sessions will guide DLSU-Dasmariñas' initiatives and resource allocation, steering the institution towards continued growth, innovation, and unwavering commitment to its Lasallian charism for SY2025-2026.
