
Grassroots leaders are being called to take bold action for the environment as De La Salle University-Dasmariñas launches the Free Executive Course on Barangay Governance for Resilient Environment (B-GREEN).
DLSU-D will hold the B-GREEN Executive Course from September 13 to October 11, 2025, at the Ayuntamiento de Gonzalez Building , equipping barangay leaders with governance skills to advance environmental resilience.
The program, held every Saturday with morning (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) and afternoon (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM) sessions, is designed for incumbent Barangay Officials and SK Chairpersons who are committed to environmental leadership.
Applicants must submit an application letter addressed to the Director of SGPSCL, proof of incumbency, and a recommendation letter from the C/MLGOO via https://forms.gle/MStjjzcZ1Yq8odz77 by September 2, 2025. Applications will be endorsed by the Provincial Directors of DILG Cavite and Laguna, with results announced on September 9. Confirmed participants must secure their slots by September 11 through a refundable confirmation fee of PhP 2,000.
Organizers emphasize that the program champions leaders who believe “The environment is worth dying for,” reflecting a call to courage and action. “Be a B-HERO, B-LEAD, and B-GREEN,” the organizers urged.
