De La Salle University-Dasmariñas has opened the Hingahan Wellness Lounge at the AEA-IRC—a new space designed to help students pause, breathe, and recharge.
The project is the result of the library’s action research on student wellness, made possible through the unwavering support of Br. Iñigo R. Riola FSC, EdD, University President. With the assistance of the Office of the Vice President for Administrative Services (OVPAS), the study has been transformed into a meaningful wellness space for the Lasallian community.
DLSU-D also recognizes Ms. Ethel M. Torres, Director of AEA-IRC, and Ms. Mary Ann J. Salvador, Director of Museo De La Salle—authors of the Hingahan Wellness research paper—along with Mr. Benedict Bravo, former USG President, for their important contributions. Support from SDAO, USG, POLCA, and the DLSU-D Alumni Association further strengthens this initiative.
The Hingahan Wellness Lounge reaffirms the University’s commitment to student well-being by providing an accessible, calming environment within the library.
