Br. Francisco “Sockie” de la Rosa FSC, President of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), has expressed strong support for Masungi Georeserve.
This is after the recent cancellation of Masungi Georeserve’s 20-year agreement with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) over alleged contract violations.
Br. Sockie called Masungi Georeserve as a model of successful public-private collaboration and a key player in environmental conservation.
“Let us continue to rally behind Masungi, ensuring its legacy as a beacon of conservation and source of pride for our nation,” he said.
Masungi Georeserve Foundation, located in Rizal, won the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG) Award in 2022 for its conservation efforts, aligning with DLSU-D’s commitment to sustainability.
