The LCDC of DLSU-D invites the community to the West Philippine Sea Forum on February 21, 2025, from 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at Ugnayang La Salle.
Titled “Environmental Impact, Geopolitical Dynamics, and Regional Security: Forum on the West Philippine Sea,” the event will feature three expert speakers that will discuss the impact of the West Philippine Sea disputes on the Philippines’ geopolitical and regional security. The speakers are:
- Dr. Renato de Castro, Professor at DLSU
- Dr. Jonathan Anticamara, Professor at UP Institute of Biology
- Colonel Enrico Gil C. Iletto PA (MNSA), Chief of Public Affairs, AFP
This event is a collaboration between DLSU-D and the De La Salle Philippines – Lasallian Justice and Peace Commission. In addition to them, internal collaborators from DLSU-D include the Social Sciences Department, Religious Education Department, Lasallian Mission Office – Basic Education Division, University Student Government, Cultural Arts Office, and SERVE.
This timely forum will not only educate the participants but also engage them in a conversation on a pressing national issue.
