Dr. Grace Cella Mejia and the LSO represented the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) in a meeting with the Korean Tourism Organization (KTO).
The KTO delegation, including Deputy Director Eunkyung Cho, Marketing Project Coordinator Joseph Jeong, and Dustine Maaño, discussed opportunities for student and faculty immersions beyond Seoul, in destinations like Busan, Jeju Island, and the historic Gyeongbokgung area.
Joseph Jeong emphasized, "South Korea offers so much more than just Seoul," highlighting Busan and Jeju as valuable sites for learning and cultural discovery.
This partnership aims to provide hands-on learning experiences, cultural exchange, and potential internship opportunities in South Korea’s tourism sector, aligning with the CTHM’s goal of offering globally relevant education.
The Linkages and Scholarship Office (LSO) will coordinate the exchanges to maximize the benefits of this partnership for DLSU-D students and faculty.
