De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) has formalized a strategic partnership with the Department of Health – Treatment and Rehabilitation Center in Tagaytay City through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), reinforcing its commitment to mental health advocacy and student development.
The collaboration aims to promote mental health awareness while providing valuable internship opportunities for students. Through this initiative, learners will gain hands-on experience in real-world healthcare settings, enhancing both their professional skills and community engagement.
Representing the Department of Health during the signing were Orlando B. Padilla, Medical Center Chief II; Anne Christine Torres, Health Program Officer I; John Batarra, Attorney III; and Febie Rose D. Bayas, Legal Assistant and Data Protection Officer.
This partnership is expected to advance mental health programs and strengthen academic-industry linkages, equipping students with practical training while supporting broader community wellness efforts.
