De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) strengthened its commitment to industry-academe collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with First Aviation Academy, Inc. (FAA) at the Ayuntamiento de Gonzalez Building.
The partnership aims to provide students with alternative on-the-job training opportunities in the aviation sector, helping bridge academic learning with real-world industry experience. Through specialized training programs, students will gain practical skills aligned with current aviation industry demands and improve their career readiness.
The ceremonial signing was led by DLSU-D President Br. Iñigo Riola, FSC, and FAA President Major Gen. Restituto Padilla Jr., together with university administrators and representatives from FAA and the Philippine Transmarine Carriers (PTC).
University officials highlighted the importance of strengthening industry linkages to enhance student employability, professional competencies, and experiential learning opportunities beyond the classroom.
This collaboration reinforces DLSU-D’s commitment to producing globally competitive graduates through meaningful partnerships with industry leaders.
