De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) formally welcomed Rev. Fr. Ashpaul A. Castillo as its new University Chaplain through a solemn installation ceremony held at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Chapel.
The ceremony was officiated by Most. Rev. Reynaldo G. Evangelista, Bishop of Imus, who served as the installing prelate, marking the official beginning of Fr. Castillo’s pastoral leadership within the Lasallian community.
Fr. Castillo assumes the role of University Chaplain, succeeding Reinier Dumaop, who has also been recently appointed as the 4th Parish Priest of Saint Paul Parish – Langkaan and Priest Animator of the Diocesan Ministry on Catechesis of the Diocese of Imus.
The University’s newly appointed Chaplain is entrusted with guiding the spiritual formation and faith life of students, faculty, and staff, and his installation signifies a renewed commitment to the University’s mission of nurturing a faith-centered community, where spiritual growth remain integral to Lasallian education.
